  • Dr Lovett completed his basic training followed by Anaesthetic Registrar training at the John Hunter, Gosford and Lismore Hospitals, followed by a provisional fellowship year at Flinders Medical Centre, Adelaide, specialising in Regional Anaesthesia and Hepatobiliary surgery including liver transplant.

    He currently maintains VMO positions at John Hunter, Maitland Public and Calvary Mater Hospitals.

  • Dr Lovett understands the stress that can occur in family members when high risk procedures take place. He hopes to convey this and manage your anxiety around your surgery as well as is possible.

    He will, of course, do his best to take care of you to as high a standard as is possible.

  • Dr Lovett’s interests include photography, cycling and coffee.

    He is a devoted husband and father to 2 children.
